Laneige Sleeping lip mask – Grapefruit

Happy weekend everyone!

It’s finally Saturday and I’m loving the day off! I finally have time to review a new product that I’ve been using for a while now and it’s time to tell you what I think about the product!

Those who know me, they know I have really dry lips and have struggling with that since I was 14 years old. My lips are dry y’all and I’ve always been obsessed with lipsticks too, which makes it worse but hey YOLO.

I’ve been trying out tons and tons of lip products, balms, oils and such to prevent dryness and I’ve finally found something that really works! It’s the Laneige Sleeping lip mask.

These are the ingredients

Diisostearyl Malate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Phytosteryl/Isostearyl/Cetyl/Stearyl/Behenyl Dimer Dilinoleate, Hydrogenated Poly(C6-14 Olefin), Polybutene, Microcrystalline Wax, Shea Butter, Synthetic Wax, Candelilla Wax, Sucrose Tetrastearate Triacetate, Butylene/Ethylene/Styrene Copolymer, Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer, Mica, Fragrance, Astrocaryum Murumuru Seed Butter, Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate, Dehydroacetic Acid, Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate, Methicone, Carnauba Wax, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Water, Potassium Alginate, Propanediol, Glycerin, Ethanol, Lycium Chinense Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Fruit Extract, Fragaria Ananassa (Strawberry) Fruit Extract, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Sapindus Mukorossi Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract, Rubus Chamaemorus Seed Extract, Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Extract, Chenopodium Quinoa Seed Extract, Magnesium Sulfate, Calcium Chloride, Sodium Hyaluronate, Beta-Glucan, Manganese Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Sunset Yellow FCF, Lithol Rubine B

Wow, what a list!! That’s so much ingredients for a little jar. There’s not so much I want to say about the ingredients though, but the company states that it kills and removes deadskin while you sleep so when you wake up, you have smooth lips. The lip mask is available in 4 different scents. Berry, apple lime, grapefruit and mint choco. I have the Grapefruit one as you can see. Oh, it comes with a spatula which is so adorable.

The consistency is thick, jellyish and melts into a balmy/oily feel when meeting the lips. It has a really good scent, that is not overpowering at all!

I have problem with lipsticks, lip products overall that has too much fragrance. I feel sick actually and they make me very uncomfortable. I chose lip products very very carefully because of the frangrance. Some are just overbearing and you feel it in your mouth for the whole day. This lip mask doesn’t have that. It has a subtle scent of grapefruit which is pretty nice.

This is an example of a lip product that I cannot CANNOT stand. I had this on my lips one day and almost threw up because of how strong the smell was.

The mask is really hydrating! The morning after, I don’t feel a tight feeling on my lips, it is actually moveable! It is amazing since I have tried so many lip products and they are not as hydrating as this one.

What I love about it is that it leaves your lips a bit glossy, which I love because it looks pretty haha!

I recommend it, maybe after using this I’ll try another scent. That Choco mint is really alluring right now.

I give the Laneige Lip mask – grapefruit 5 ⭐️I have no complaints, it’s pretty- works perfectly.
