Leegeeham Grow Vita Propolis Ampoule

Happy Easter!

I guess some of you are celebrating Easter now and some aren’t but still enjoying your days off, I know I am!

So I think I’ll review a “glow potion” with you guys today. This little ampoule is small but pretty powerful so please keep on reading if you want to get that pretty glow everyone is talking about these days.

These are the ingredients

Propolis extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract, Panthenol, Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Niacinamide, 1, 2-Hexanediol, Ethyl Ascorbyl Ether, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Bark/ Twig Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Carbomer, Arginine, Spirodela Polyrrhiza Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Adenosine, Sodium Hyaluron

Notice how the first ingredient isn’t water? I love when it isn’t water because then I know that the ingredients are packed in there, even the liquid isn’t just mixed with water but other main ingredients. In this case, it’s propolis extract.

The star ingredient

If you are into reading ingredients like me, you will notice many many great ingredients that will contribute loads of benefits to your skin in this ampoule, but let’s talk about it’s star ingredient, which is Propolis extract and takes up to 50% of all ingredients in this little bottle.

Propolis extract is a material that is made by bees from the bud of polar and cone-bearing trees. Bees use propolis to build their hives. It was originally used to cure sores and infections that were caused by bacteria, viruses and so many other skin conditions. It protects and restores and heal the skin after it’s been damaged.

It has healing, antiseptic and restorative capabilities which will assist in balancing, healing and soothing skin problems. It functions great as an anti-flammatory agent.

It is, therefore great for acne skin since it fights off the bacteria in your skin and keeps your skin balanced.

What is an ampoule?

Well, ampoule is almost like the Korean term for serums but it is supercharged with higher concentrations of active ingredients that can be used as a booster or treatment for your skin. Such as if you have dry skin, wrinkles, acne or dull skin. It can be used after essences and before serums if you want an extra boost for your skin.

This ampoule’s extra boost is the glow. You can use it before serums to make the skin glowier, add it to foundations or creams too if you don’t want to use it by itself.

The ampoule itself

I think it’s so pretty, hands down one of the prettiest packaging that I’ve seen. It’s cute, it’s simple and the product’s consistency is amazing. It’s similar to an oil, comes out as an oil, makes your skin glowy and moisturized but not oily at all!

It can be a bit sticky first but since you continue with other skincare products after this, it’s sinks in and the other products locks it in too.

I always get a kick of glow with this ampoule on, I use it especially when I know I’m gonna use make up. It makes my foundation dewier and my skin feels like “glass”. This is a photo with me having the ampoule on my face without foundation. Do you see how glowy it makes me but not oily?

Overall, I do like this ampoule very much, I don’t use it everyday because sometimes my routine can have many steps and adding this to the other steps might be too much and will clog my pores. I feel like using it everyday makes my skin feel a bit “too much” since it is a bit thick.

I will give it a 4,5⭐️ I love it but I would want to be able to use it everyday without it clogging my pores.

Well that’s it you guys! Hope you find the review useful!
